UCRC is back from winter break and we are ready for the upcoming season. As always, we start indoors at the Tanks for training, and we head back to the water starting on spring break. We are also glad to welcome in our new novices this season. It is always great to Indoor Races With the cold weather, we keep our boats winterized until mid-March, but that doesn't stop us from competing! Nathan Damas Shatters Record Board

Let it be known that the Bearcats are fierce and full of fight. With competition always around the corner, UCRC takes training seriously. Join the Team

The team returns to training in January and we hope to see you! UCRC is recruiting rowers who are strong and disciplined athletes that want to propel their boat. The team also needs coxswains, who are loud, proud, guides of the larger boats. Most of our athletes have joined with no previous experience, so accept the challenge of trying something new and maybe you'll love it as much as they do. You can become a rower or coxswain by reaching out to our recruiting chair, Connor Klein, at recruiting@cincyrowing.org. Check out our future race schedule and remember, we'll teach you the basics, so no experience is necessary!

Founding members Tom Ritter, Steven Baker and Tom Stork took on the great task of developing the structure for both men’s and women’s rowing representing the university, although they commuted to Lake Harsha to train the team had early success at the Dad Vail regatta where medals were earned in the first few years. The Bearcats also began competing within two leagues the Southern Intercollegiate Rowing Association and Midwest Sprints...
